EMBREY has closed on financing for construction of a 344-unit multifamily community in a dynamic mixed-used neighborhood called The Hatchery on the shores of Lady Bird Lake just east of downtown Austin, Texas.
The EMBREY community – architecturally designed by Lake Flato and GFF Architects – is part of a master-planned development that features a walkable neighborhood with retail, multifamily and senior housing and easy access to the highly desirable employment and recreational activities in and around downtown.

Residents will enjoy a rooftop pool deck and clubhouse overlooking the downtown Austin skyline. Additional amenities will also include a double-height fitness center with an expansive view of the adjacent Hatchery Park, a residential lounge with coworking facilities, a large game room, a “grab and go” market, a spacious central courtyard with a fireplace, outdoor kitchens, gaming lawns and a water feature.
Interior finishes will feature contemporary and European style cabinetry. Kitchens will include islands with waterfall edge countertops.
Studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom residential units will be available. The first units are expected to be delivered in the second quarter of 2027 with full project completion scheduled in the second quarter of 2028.
